We have been working hard to design a program that will revitalize our tennis program and attract tennis players to The Preserve at Ironhorse. We are pleased to announce the implementation of a Tennis Activity Fee. As many of you are aware, we used to offer a tennis only membership at the club. A couple of years ago, we eliminated that offering in an attempt to streamline the membership offerings and promote the sale of the sports memberships. This led to an unfortunate decrease in activity at the tennis facility. The goal of this new program is to attract enough tennis players to bolster the tennis program and provide our members with more opportunities to arrange games, round robins and team play.
The Tennis Activity Fee will be a tennis only option and not a membership in the club. There are two payment options. The Tennis Activity Fee is $900 per individual annually if paid at once or $100 per month with a minimum commitment of 6 months. This offering will have an initial maximum of 40 individuals. Additionally, we are pleased to announce that The Julian Alonso Team has agreed to provide the services of Sergio Martinez for private instruction for our members. Our court maintenance manager, Bill Magnan, is beginning the process of professional certification and will also be available for instruction. We are also currently working on several programming ideas for the upcoming season such as socials, play with the pros, clinics, etc. If you have any ideas or suggestions that might assist us with our goal of a vibrant and active tennis program, please feel free to email me or arrange a meeting.
