Ironhorse Country Club – The Beginning

In 1989, renowned golf course designer, Arthur Hills, designed the challenging golf course that has evolved into the par 72, 18 hole course enjoyed by members today. In 1991, a book was published about the project; the title is Driving the Green by John Strawn.

A single private owner purchased the club in 2010 and has gone on to invest in the complete renovation of the clubhouse and golf course as promised with no assessments to the membership.

All-encompassing renovations were made and completed in 2015 and 2016 to the club facilities and golf course. Virtually every aspect of the country club has been refreshed. Between golf course upgrades and clubhouse improvements, the total invested in renovations was in excess of $3.5 million. The fitness center has been moved to the second floor and is equipped with brand new, state of the art equipment from Precor and Cybex.  The restaurant and bar have been completely renovated with a brand new granite bartop and 80 and 72 inch televisions on the walls. The locker rooms have been fully redone with new furnishings to create a tranquil and inviting space to refresh after a round of golf or yoga class. The golfing experience was already a standout in South Florida but is now truly unsurpassed with the addition of the new Celebration Bermudagrass, the incredible native landscaping, and the surrounding natural preserve.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
